In this Assignment, please apply concepts learned related to providing interventions to individuals, families, and groups. You have been asked to look at specified populations and apply interventions that work for the respective at-risk population. In this paper, you are asked to justify interventions for specified groups as well as differentiate why specified populations respond the way they do to interventions. In this analysis it is also imperative to understand the delivery of interventions and examine skills the professional must possess to deliver the required intervention to the individual, family, or group.

Part 1

Examine two interventions for working with individuals; examine two interventions for working with families, and one intervention for working with groups. After this examination please differentiate between these interventions.

Part 2

Evaluate the success of interventions examined in Part 1.

Part 3

Choose a particular intervention examined in Part 1. Then assess the skills the professional must have in delivering this intervention. Also include in this assessment how values and ethics of the professional may enhance or negate some of the success of the intervention applied.

Interventions for Working with Individuals
Intervention refers to measures taken by social work which involves working with
families as well as individuals and children by helping them to solve problems. The social
work uses interventions at both micro and macro level such as family therapy which is
practiced by people undergoing postgraduate training. Micro intervention refers to that
practice which brings changes at a personal level or a relationship level, and it includes
interventions such as crisis intervention, family therapy, counseling, and small group work.
Macro response on the other hand targets social groups that are larger and communities in
general, to bring changes through development works and community works (Chenoweth &
McAuliffe, 2005).
Intervention for working with individual children
Child assessment refers to having a crucial objective in information collecting, so as
to inform the progress of social work anticipation as well as mediation blueprint to aid
children or a group of children. Information about children or a group of children gathered, to
aid in research and eligibility evaluation, with an ultimate goal of formulation and
