Rodney orders a pizza with a 20-inch diameter and asks for a cheese-stuffed crust along its border. The cheese-filled border measures about  inches.

What we are looking for is the measure around the outer edge of the pizza.  On a circle, this is called circumference.

The formula fo circumference is:   C = 2 x pi x r

Using 3.14 for pi, we get C = 2 x 3.14 x 10  (note the diameter is 20, so the radius is 10)

C = 62.8 inches.

Hope that helps.
