Infrared (IR) spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NRM) spectroscopy are the
two major types of absorption spectroscopy. Spectroscopy, which is also called spectrometry is
the measurement or study of the interaction between electromagnetic radiation and matter. There
