Impacts of Cultural Values on Consumer Behavior
In business, a customer is an individual who purchases goods and services that a
particular company produces. Although many customers manufacture goods which are similar,
the consumers’ interest is observed by the willingness of customers to use services and products
of one company and not the other. The interest is created by the preference in taste, their needs
and also the cost of products. The consumer undergoes various stages before purchasing a
commodity, and these steps are what create the consumer behavior. In the recent years, the
marketing concept has changed due to factors such as technological advancement, the need to be
healthy, disposable incomes among other factors (Armstrong et al 2015). Marketing which is the
act of persuading and giving customers a reason why they should purchase your goods has taken
a different dimension. Change in cultural values is one of the significant factors that affect
consumer behavior today.
In the recent years, there has been concern about the future of the environment which is
caused mainly by climate change. Consumers are very keen about the damage of earth’s limited
resources and every company that manufactures goods while also creating a solution to these
