Question Description

how does the mechanical advantage of a pulley system change when increaIng the number of pulleys?

If we  Increase the number of pulleys the this will increase the ideal mechanical advantage, but because of friction so,it will decrease the efficiency. if many  pulleys that are turning, then more the  friction there will built, and the less efficient in the system will be. to Increase the load will add to the friction on the bearings of the pulleys, thus reducing the efficiency of the system. The ideal mechanical advantage won't change since the ideal mechanical advantage ignores friction.
