ENTRY #1
1. How did you choose your group for this course?

I was relaxing in class one day after the lesson and some of my best friends
approached me.

They were discussing the issues we had covered in our lesson that had just
ended and so I joined them.

They later asked me if I had a group and I replied that I had not yet joined any
and so we agreed to form one and that is how I got to join it.

2. Which difficulties do you expect to experience?

As expected, a group has to face few challenges in its early days. One of the
challenges I expect is how to we will choose leaders to organize us.

We are friends but other members are new to us and we do not know their
character and potential.

The other challenge is time management. I do not know if all members will be
keen on keeping time.

The third challenge is respect and smooth learning of the group activities. We
might have a challenge with maintaining a consistent respect towards each
other.

3. How are you planning to deal with social loafing?
Social loafing is expected to be a challenge to the group as some of the members may
not give enough efforts to the group work as compared to when they are working on
their own work.
To deal with that, I will allocate each member a specific role to do and this way they
will be obligated to perform and deliver on it.
The other way will be to talk to them to change their behavior and to insist they have
to participate in all group activities. We will also have a record of participation to
encourage everyone to participate.
4. Are you a good communicator?

I consider myself a good communicator because I am good at arguments and
negotiations.

I also consider myself a good communicator because I always consider the
impacts of my words before I say anything. The aim is to ensure I do not hurt
others.

The other reason is because I am fluent and make good use of speech skills,
good dramatic pauses and good selection of words.

5. What is your strength and weakness when it comes to communicating with
other?

My main strength is that I can communicate to others and write down their
points effectively at the same time.

The other one is that I can convince people to change their mind easily
without hurt8ung their feelings.

My weakness is that I am not good at giving up on my opinions.

The other weakness is that I expect total concentration. If I communicate to
