The changes in an organization differ in the magnitude to which they happen to occur
(Cummings & Worley, 2014). Some of the changes are limited in scope while others are more
extensive of the application. The first order deals with the organization structure and involves a
restoration of balance. The first order is characterized by a linear progression through a
continuous change in nature and involves minor shifts in the manner of operation of the
organization (Alvesson & Sveningsson, 2015). An example of the first order change may include
the designing of new ways of data collection of the same data and the refining of the existing
processes and procedures used in production.
