RESEARCH DESIGN FOR ONE-WAY ANOVA
One-way analysis of variance provides a significant understanding of the existing
difference between means of two unrelated groups. Therefore, in conducting a one-way analysis
of variance, there is need to provide a greater understanding of which this statistical approach
can be considered. Based on the General social survey dataset, one-way analysis of variance will
focus on determining if there is a statistically significant difference between men and women
based on occupational prestige score. The variables that are being considered in this case include
sex and occupational prestige score. The sex, in this case, is a categorical variable which includes
two groups male and female while the dependent variables that are being investigated are the
occupational prestige score which is a continuous variable measured on a ratio scale.
The research question, in this case, provides the framework under which the study is
developed. It allows for better development of key elements that are being developed...
