ethics and regulatory matters include actions of individuals within the organization and the
positions and activities of the company on ethical issues. While complying with regulations and
laws as well as maintaining high standards of ethics are critical for all organizations,
manufacturing companies such as Target Inc. face extra problems because of the possibility to
harm customers as well as the workers (Elkington, 2004). Since Target Inc. operates in the line
of manufacturing, the potential that its goods are unsafe for the consumers and the possibility of
injury to employees is always present. Executing controls, policies, and procedures to minimize

Target Inc. should focus on a safety and secure workplace (Rayner, 2001). In Target Inc.,
the presence of raw materials and machines force enough safety rules and regulations both

significant matters associate to a reasonable equilibrium between safety, inconvenience, and
