Introduction

A marketing strategy is the process in which entrepreneurs formulate ways and means of
increasing their revenue and sales (Cravens & Piercy, 2006). This leads to increased market
share of the given business premise. This process enable the entrepreneurs identify the areas of
weaknesses and formulate how to improve on those areas, will the business gaps while taking
advantage on their business strength to make more profit. For a marketing strategy to be
effective, it needs to be in line with the organization’s mission, vision, objectives and the core
values. All these are done in order to ensure customer satisfaction and increase the customer base
without compromising on the quality of the product. Therefore, this paper will focus on the
various marketing strategies, their applicability in implementation of marketing plan, and the
integrative strategies that in use in the modern business models and comparison of various
