the easiest method to solve is

stop one member and allowed to another member to travel

how to do it?

add 3mph to opposite direction of man walk.

then velocity of man=0

when add 3mph for bicycle 12+3=15mph

now we can apply

s=ut

5mil=15*t

t=5/15

t=1/3

t=0.33s
