Health matters a lot in human life development from infancy to adulthood and should not
be taken for granted. This paper will analyze a case story of a day in a sleep clinic. First, it will
examine Dr. Williams’s behavior and its influence on his patient’s decisions. Secondly, roles,
ethnicity, culture, socioeconomic status and race play in families' experiences in the healthcare
system. Lastly, factors that influence disparities in health outcomes
Dr. Williams acts with ignorance when he meets the Vietnamese family. He seems to be
