1. Why do you think that the article begins with a description of Wonder Woman?

The author introduces the article by describing the wonder woman to make a connection between
what is known and what is not known to the reader. The idea is to give the reader a brief insight
of what will follow. The author is fully aware that few have taken an interest in reading or
getting to know the myths of Amazonians. She is also aware that many people in the modern
world fancy movies and they have probably watched the “wonder woman series.” Because of the
similarity between the wonder woman and Amazonians, introducing the Amazonians by first
describing the wonder woman makes the reader understand the article content better.

myths described in the Unit?

The statement does not reflect the Amazonian women as described in the myths. According to
