Modernism, which occurred in the early 20th century, inspired a break in traditional views and standpoints. It became the start of questioning customary processes like religion and social views. Ernest Hemingway became one of the most influential authors of this time period, influencing a contemporary movement. Modernism influenced many other movements such as futurism, Dadaism, and surrealism. Futurism is a part of the modernist movement; it emphasized self-exploration and utilized literary tools such as imagery and unconventional wording in poetry. Filippo Marinetti was well known for being a founder of Futurism. Dadaism was established to cause revolutionary change, Dadaists had a more violent approach to literature and lifestyles due to their rebellious advances.
