Question description

You must select a topic for your talk. The proposal should consist of

1.The title of the topic;

2. A brief description (one or two paragraphs) of the topic; and

3. Three main references to recent books or technical articles you plan to use. No two students may select the same topic, and topics will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Web links can be used as references, however at least one reference should be a book or a technical article. The approved topics will be posted in blackboard.

Note: The length of the proposal should be 1 page, single-spaced with Times New Roman and a size 12, and either in word or pdf format.

2. Here are some questions that might help you select a proper topic:

 Why should a computer science student be interested in this topic?

 Is the topic new and exciting?

 Are participants likely to learn a lot from your talk?

 Is the topic too general? Is it too specific?

 Is there any science involved in the topic, or is it just some product information?
