On my math homework it is telling to construct a table of values for y=x^2 for the interval [-2,2] and I am confused on how to do this.
So this question is asking you to solve the equation you were given over a specific range of values. Those values are the x values, or the independent variable, from x=-2 to x=2.
The range is -2, -1, 0, 1, 2
And so on. To make a table, put the x values on the left and the corresponding y values on the right. In essence, pair -2 with 4, -1 with 1, 0 with 0, 1 with 1, and 2 with 4
