Question Description

I'm working on a health & medical discussion question and need the explanation and answer to help me learn.

Rapid   changes in health information technology (HIT) are occurring in most types   and areas of healthcare. Identify a change that may be occurring presently in   a facility you may be familiar with (or any real HC facility you researched).   To gauge the employee's acceptance of this change, design an interview   questionnaire comprising 10 questions with a rationale for each question. How   would you rate the degree of response to each question and the overall rating   of employee's responses per questionnaire?  What could you do   to facilitate employees' transition to the new health-IT, like EHR, as a   manager of this facility?

Interoperability in Healthcare.
EHR Interoperability has proven to be a key trend in health information technology
(HIT). This is considering that the healthcare sector is embracing the need to access, integrate,
exchange, and cooperatively use healthcare data gathered from different applications, devices,
and information systems (Orand, 2022). So far, various facilities have implemented this
technology into their operations. To gauge the employee’s acceptance of this change, an
interview comprising 10 questions will be administered, and employees will be encouraged to
participate. The questionnaire will contain closed-ended questions, where each response will be
based on a 5-point Likert scale. This approach will involve providing 5 response options for each
question. These response options will include two extreme sides, and a neutral option (Mazurek
et al, 2021). Using a 5-point Likert scale will help determine the degree of response for each
question, as well as the overall response rating per questionnaire.
