The "ozone hole" is a loss of stratospheric ozone in springtime over Antarctica, peaking in September.
A concentration of Ozone is found in the stratosphere with sufficient concentration to deflect UV rays. Ozone hole refers to decrease in the concentration of Ozone in Ozone layer peaking during month of September over regions of Antarctic. This is known as Ozone Hole.
