Therefore, the equation of the parabola with focus (b) and directrix is

(x-a)^2+b^2-c^2= 2(b-c)y

(x+2)^2+0-16= 1(4)y

4y=x^2+4x-12

y= 1/4x^2+x-3

y=ax^2+bx+c

coordinates= x= -b/2a=-(1)*4=-4

y= 1/4x^2+x-3

y= 1/4*16+-4-3= 4-4-3= -3

ccordinates= (-4,-3)
