Google how a "rectangular prism" looks like. It is a 3D rectangle.

Surface area of front and back is : 140mm*120mm*2=33600mm

Surface area of left and right side is: 120mm*4mm*2=960mm

Surface area of top and bottom is: 140mm*4mm*2=1120mm

Thus the surface area of the jewel case is: 33600mm+960mm+1120mm=35680mm
