A supervisor is an individual who is in charge of overseeing a person and or activity.
Supervisors at the place of work are usually in charge of the other employees at the place of
work. A supervisor has some responsibilities that they are supposed to fulfill, and they include
setting goals that drive employee performance in a manner that is compliant with the rules and
regulations of a company. A supervisor also has the responsibility of making sure that the
workflow is organized by ensuring that all employees under their supervision have an
understanding of their duties and responsibilities. A supervisor is responsible for monitoring the
productivity of an employee in some ways such as coaching and giving employees feedback that
is constructive. For one to be promoted to take a role as a supervisor, he or she should have
worked with someone as well and proved that they have leadership potential. A supervisory
position puts one person in charge of others which is a feeling that most people covet, but it is
