[(v-2+v+1)/v+1] = (v+7/v+5)

(2v-1)/(v+1)  =(v+7/v+5)

(2v-1) (v+5) = (v+7)(v+1)

2v^2 +10v -v -5 = v^2 +7v +v+7

2v^2 +9v -5 = v^2 +8v+7

v^2+v-12=0

v^2+4v-3v-12=0

v(v+4)-3(v+4)=0

(v-3) (v+4)=0

v=3   ,  v=-4   or v= {3,-4}
