Mass of Zn = 1.8g

Mass of water produced by released hydrogen gas = ?

Zn + 2HCl ------------ ZnCl2 + H2

Moles of Zn = mass of Zn/ atomic mass of Zn

  = 1.8/65.38

  = 0.0275 mol of Zn

1 mol of Zn = 2 mol of HCl

0.0275 mol of Zn = (2*0.0275) mol of HCl

  =  0.055 mol of HCl

2mol of HCl = 1 mol of H2

0.055 mol HCl = (1*0.055)/2

  = 0.0275 mol of H2 gas

2H2 + O2 ------- 2H2O

2mol H2 = 2 mol water

0.0275 mol H2 = (2*0.0275)/2

  = 0.0275 mol water

Mass of water produced by released hydrogen gas = mol of water * molecular mass of water

  = 0.0275 *18

Mass of water produced by released hydrogen gas =0.4955g

How much water is that in grams

i have provided you the answer in moles as well as in grams. In my understanding if they have provided you the amount of Zn in grams the amount of water should be reported in grams as well. so it's upto you
