As you can see above, just restate your title and start into your paper. It is not that we do not have an introduction, that is an important part of your paper and the place you where you state your thesis and/or main claim – in other words, the purpose of the paper. The rubric calls for a thesis by stating, “The thesis and/or main claim are comprehensive. The essence of the paper is contained within the thesis.”. Introduce your paper and let the reader know the purpose. Please note: READ THE RUBRIC THROUGH SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE STARTING YOUR PAPER. Biological Model I have listed the main section of this paper. Each of the six models of abnormality (see template) 2. Provide specific and current examples to demonstrate the application and treatment of each. [this is often missed by students – here is how I would organize each section: • Describe the perspective • Give a general example of an application of the perspective • Give a specific example of one of the treatments or interventions that is used to treat the application you used above. Include two to four scholarly sources from the GCU library to support your claims. Please note: In this class, if it says to give two to four scholarly sources, give four. You can give less but if you look at the rubric, you may lose significant points. Your textbook (Comer) is not considered a scholarly source. Use it but be sure to have others. Scholarly resources are articles in a journal so go the library and find them or use the articles that are listed in the reading section for this topic.
