The emphasis on the use of technological solutions in all areas of human endeavor has
risen in the past decade and would continue to do so in the future. Similarly, the adoption of
technology in the educational system of the country has resulted to situations where an estimated
98percent of teachers have at least one computer system in their classroom. Also, advanced
technological tools and equipment such as the digital camera, projectors, and interactive
whiteboards have gained wider acceptance in this classroom. One of the implications of this
development for teachers is that there is a new demand for skills on how to effectively
incorporate technology into the instructional delivery methods used by them to enhance the
learning experience of their students (Richardson, Morgan, & Fleener, 2012). An additional
