In order to find the amount of aluminum needed, you need to calculate the surface area.  For this pyramid, you have 4 triangles and one square, so:

SA = 4(1/2)bh + b^2 (4 times the area of a triangle plus the area of the square)

SA = 4(1/2)(440)(356) + 440^2

SA = 506,880 square units.

Note: Use 356 as the height for the triangle, since we are only looking at the outside of the pyramid.
