The source of the data
The paper discusses cancer mortality rate in the US. The data has been obtained from the United
States Cancer Statistics based on mortality rate from the CDC’s program of the National Cancer
Institute. Cancer has been one of the most notorious infections that are leaving the world under
pressure. Apart from other few diseases, cancer is ranked second for taking people’s lives young
or old. It is, therefore, a very important issue to be discussed, taken with a lot of weight to at least
reduce the number of people dying of cancer. According to different reports based on cancer,
each year there have been more than one and half million cases of cancer, in which about fifteen
thousand cases are of children under the age of 20 years while five hundred and ninety thousand
deaths from cancer of people above the age of twenty (De Angelis, Sant, Coleman, Francisci,
Baili, Pierannunzio, & Bielska-Lasota, 2014).
