Mickey has 2 lists of consecutive odd numbers.  The sum of the first 2 numbers on each list is 8.  When  the 3rd number on the first list is doubled and then subtracted from the first number on the second list, the result is the same as the second number from the first list, decreased by 14.  Find the 2 sets

assume the 3rd number on the first list is x, then the second number would be x-2, first number would be x-4

x-2+x-4=8, 2x=8+6, x=7

thus the first list is 3,5,7,9,11,13...........

assume the first number from the first list is y, then according to the question

y-2x=x-2-14, y=3x-16=21-16=5

thus the second list is 5,7,9,11,13.......
