Find the central angle measure of the sector of a circle that represents the givent percent

the percent is 28%.

How do I solve this.

the central angle measure of the sector of a circle = 28% of 360 , as complete angle = 360 at center

= 28*360/100

= 100.8 degrees

How do you get that though I don't understand

total angle at center = 360

given sector is 28% of that

calculate 28% of 360

required sector angle = (28/100)*360

28*360/100 = 28*36/10 = 1008/10 = 100.8

if not clear can ask again .

ok so its basically 28 over 100 = X over 360

and then we cross multiply

and get 10080=100x

then we divide by 100 and then that gets us 100.8

am I right ?

so for another example

to find the central angle measure of the sector of a circle that represents 15%

the answer would be 54 ?
