Abstract
The student has designed a process to analyze and improve homemade cookies that she released
her and her husband love but had no time to bake often. This idea will help them bake the
cookies more often. This will be achieved through simplifying, combining, rearranging and
eliminating certain steps during baking. She felt that there should be a new arrangement for the
cupboard and pantries, they should use trays for transportation of the ingredients to the working
area, tables and bowls should be moved for easier access and to create more room for movement,
two batches should be baked at the same time and finally they should smash bananas before
peeling. With the above improvements the student knew that time spent and distance covered
would decrease by 18.2 minutes and 127 feet respectively.
