Melanie Isaacs is an outstanding character in the book, Disgrace. The novel does not take

is introduced to us. At her first appearance, Melanie depicts a person who is beautiful and cute,
and fashionable. She takes a course by David on Romantic Poetry. She is a student who loves
drama and uses nearly all of her time rehearsing for a comedy script known us “Sunset at the
Globe Salon. David gets attracted to her beauty, as well as, the crowd as well, she is beautiful
