f(x)= cscx/cotx

May 23rd, 2015

f(x)=csc x/cot x

=(1/sin x)/(cos x/sin x)

=1/cos x

df(x)/dx=d(1/cos x)/dx

Applying division rule

d(1/cos x)/dx=[cosx*d(1)/dx -1*d(cos x)/dx]/cos2 x

=sin x/cos2 x

=tan x*sec x
