-3n-7+(-6n)+1

May 23rd, 2015

-3n - 7 + (-6n) + 1

= -3n + (-6n) - 7 +1 ..................................(rearranging the 4 terms in the expression)

= -3n - 6n -7+1..........................................(adding a negative term = subtracting a positive term)

= -9n -6......................................................(adding/subtracting the like terms)

We have thus combined the like terms -3n & -6n and -7 & +1
