A communications satellite orbiting 300 miles above the earth travels about 27,000 miles in one orbit. The time in hours for an orbit is 27,000/v. Where v is the velocity in miles per hour. How long will an orbit take at a velocity of 1125 miles per hour?

so time = distance/velocity 

time = 27,000 / 1,125 
time = 24 hours
