in a minimum of a two page essay outline the arguments for ethnic groups who retain their language and cultural practices virtually unchanged after they immigrated to the United States in various enclaves 

such as Islamic mosque-centered communities, Hasidic Jewish communities, Little Havana in Miami, Little Saigon in Garden Grove, California, the Amish Communities in Pennsylvania and Ohio, Chinatown in San Francisco, the Hmong families in Fresno and the like. 

What are the arguments against such resistance to assimilation?
