IP theft has lead to loss of employment in the U.S.A. Abolishing the criminal act can be a positive economic consequence. Numerous research, indicate that the government losses atleast 250 million dollars a year as a result of IP theft.

The criminal act has also funded many dangerous acts (crimes). Dealing with IP theft can significantly reduce the rate of crime in the country.

example include the DVD piracy, which fund drug smuggling and other criminal activities.

Buying a counterfeit handbag or cloth is a victimless crime according to reports in the FBI, which they believe it is robbing people of their ideas. generally, the public believe that buying cheap goods might seem like a victimless crime.
