This is what they asked me to find Assume that the flask shown in the diagram can be modeled as a combination of a sphere and a cylinder. Based on this assumption, what is the volume of the flask? Round the answer to two decimal places

May 24th, 2015

cylinder

=3.14*(0.5)^2 *3 =2.33 inch^3

area of circle = 3.14 r^2

=3.14* (2.25)^2

=17.67

total volume = 17.67+ 2.33 = 20 inch ^3
