Find the vertical velocity of 48ft. per second from a height of 3ft. What is the maximum height? How many seconds does it take before it reaches its maximum height.

s(t)=-16t^2+48t+3

t=-b/2a=-48/(-32)=3/2 seconds

s(t)=-16(3/2)^2+48*(3/2)+3=39 ft
