Wheat is the primary cereal grain in the United States and grown in almost every state.
The quantity of the grain and the type vary between regions. Apparently, as Daryanto, Wang and
Jacinthe (2016) state that United States ranks third globally in the production of the wheat with
only China and India ranking ahead of them. It produces over 58 million tons. Almost 50 percent
of the grain produced is exported making the United States the largest wheat exporter in the
world (Daryanto, Wang, & Jacinthe, 2016). The agriculture department in the United States
categorizes wheat into eight classes, that is, durum wheat, soft red winter wheat, hard red spring
wheat, hard white wheat, hard red winter wheat, soft white wheat, mixed wheat and unclassed
