Today, systems management can quickly turn into a fiasco if contemporary corporations
do not have in place four key components to ensure efficient and effective operation of its
systems. Nowhere is systems management important than in the information systems
management. The basic components of any information system can be divided into two major
categories namely input or process and output or transformation. The process side facilitates the
transformation of input into output, (Jaramillo 2010). The output is the end product of an
