Small business requires a Disaster recovery (DR) plan to ensure its continuity after the
disaster occurrence (Snedaker and Rima, 2014). Disaster source from different causes must are
predetermined while other happens unexpectedly. These causes are a natural disaster or human
errors like cyber-attacks leads to great losses that require the business a management to put in
place a DR plan for such inevitable occurrences (Watters, 2014). This paper describes a small
business scenario and the DR plan in an environment of limited resources. The set-up of the plan
for DR plan will enable the business to continue in its transactions far long after the events of
disaster.
Modern Bakery Store is a small business with an established management though with
limited resources, which require one to put such factor in consideration in setting a disaster
recovery plan as it invests in hospitality (Madu, 2018). Modern Bakery has manpower which
ensures the equipment is used appropriately in order to deliver quality in the competitive
