Description

Those answer are pretty much straightforward and can be answered easily. Attached is the database you will be testing and analyzing.

You DON'T need to edit the database, just answer the questions below and give some solutions after you test and analyze the database. Just so you know, the content of the zip file is the database and the sample paper. Thank you so much.

A

Test the table. Can answers to the desired question be obtained using the planned table structure?

Analyze the table. Are there fields or relationships that need to be changed?

Eliminate repeating groups of fields.

Create a data entry form. Consider how the data will be entered. Are there fields or relationships that need to be changed?

B

Test the table again—can answers to the desired question be obtained using the planned table structure?

Analyze the table—how will the data be viewed?

Eliminate record modification problems (such as redundant or inconsistent data) and record deletion and addition problems.

C

Test the table again. Can answers to the desired question be obtained using the planned table structure?

Identify and implement security measures to restrict access to the database.

Create a query that answers your question.

D

Analyze the results of the query. Did it answer the question? Did it give you the results you expected? What changes do you need to make, if any?

Create a report to communicate the query results.

Question 1
After carrying out the first test and analysis we realize the table can do with some minor
adjustments in order to obtain the desired questions. The tables have shown a tendency of
exhibiting some surplus data as repeating groups. By identifying fields and tables that hold
repeating groups and realigning them to ensure them data belongs to the same filed. Upon
making this adjustments there was no sign of loss of functionality.

Question B
After testing and analyzing the table, the answers to the desired question was obtainable
to some extent, however we realize that there exist some inconsistent data which we split, and
the delete all non-essential objects from a copy of the front end and dole it out to the problematic
user. Though, a few dependent objects will definitely come with it like the linked tables .Some
user are sophisticated and well conversant with MS Access and therefore might gain access and
read and make changes to the tables. This is a security issue which needs s to be addressed

QUESTION C
Looking to have a security strategy which would thwart unprivileged staff from gaining
access to the database and changing the stored information and update to make one that a refined
user cannot circumvent. One strategy on the table is to hide the navigation panel from everyone.
This is achieved through the use of VBA command DoCmd.RunCommand
