Description

I need help with a Excel Spreadsheet about the above: Here are the instructions. Please follow the instructions..I have attached the assignment (information) and the grading guide to ensure all information is included. This seems to be a very simple assignment.

PS - I HAVE TWO WEEKS OF ASSIGNMENTS. I WOULD LIKE TO USE THE SAME PERSON IF POSSIBLE

Signature Assignment: Creating Visuals from Data

+The purpose of this assignment is to have you practice creating visuals using the data from the topic you chose in Week 3. Creating charts and trendlines is an important skill used in many careers.

Watch How to Create Trendlines and Scatterplots in Excel®.

Watch Week 4 Lynda.com® Video: Adding Trendlines to Charts.

Create at least two visuals using your data.

  • Create a scatter plot of the data, and apply a linear model (also known as a regression) in Excel®.
  • Create a scatter plot of the data, and apply an exponential model in Excel®.
  • Include the equation and R2 value on the visuals.
  • Determine whether the linear or the exponential model is a better representation of your data to make your prediction. Explain why the model you chose is a better representation of your data.

Hints for Making an Effective Chart:

  • Decide why you are making a chart from this data.
  • Rename the chart title to something appropriate for the data.
  • Put in a descriptive x-axis label.
  • Put in a descriptive y-axis label.
  • Resize the chart as needed so it is easily viewable.

Submit your visuals in either an Excel® file or a Word document. Your assignment will be graded using the Week 4 Grading Guide.

It can be as simple as calculating the amount of time you have remaining to get ready for work, school, church or any other function until the time you leave. We use mathematics when paying our bills, purchasing necessities for the home and for pleasure. The purpose of this assignment is to provide preparation for using math formulas, equations, et cetera in our careers. What topic did you choose? I chose the Business Scenario for my topic because it directly relates to my major. I have always been intrigued with business and of course, mathematics is a very important part of every business big or small. I currently work for a Fortune 500 company with many opportunities for advancement. Why does it interest you? Business has always fascinated me since I was a teenager. This all began with my first real job, I worked for Burger King. You see, working at a fast food restaurant requires the skills to be able to calculate the amount of product needed to reduce and / or prevent waste at the end of the day. This is a challenge because you are unable to predict the exact number of customers you will receive daily or what product they will select. This holds true in all businesses. What do you hope to discover in your Analysis? I hope to learn how to master calculations such as what is required in this assignment. It will make me more efficient with my current telecommunications job. I work in an Executive Office as a Lead Analyst and you can tell by my title, that math is necessary when analyzing an abundance of information. 3 Conclusion In conclusion, I first and foremost hope to leave this course with the ability to calculate math more efficiently and to incorporate what I have learned in my day to day life. Week 4 Signature Assignment Grading Guide: Creating Visuals from Data Mathematical Computations (40%) • There is a sound demonstration of ability to perform mathematical computations. • There is an accurate summarization of data. • There is clear reasoning as to why the regression was chosen. Points Earned: x.x/2.4 Comments: Creating Visuals (60%) • At least two visuals are included. • Demonstrate sound skill in the creation of scatter plots to show their ability to use mathematical principles to interpret math forms. • Scatter plots have proper labeling on both the x- and y- axis. • Visuals have proper heading (linear regression, exponential regression, polynomial regression). • Linear Model, Exponential models, or Polynomial Models present. • R2 Values and model equations are present. Total Point Earned: x.x/6 Comments: Points Earned: x.x/3.6 Comments:
