Restorative justice and higher education

This article is a commentary on The Restorative Justice Organization in the state of
Missouri. This is a program that works to rehabilitate incarcerated adults back into the society
through interactive restorative justice. The article gives us a brief history of the program and how
it is sponsored and how it works to give zero percent recidivism rate. The inner workings of the
RJO are outlined and the writer introduces us to the concept of what the Missouri Restorative
Justice System is like and how it functions to achieve this zero percent rate (Keena, 2015). There
are a few examples of how the Restorative Justice Organization has achieved its success despite
the lack of funding or support from the government.
