Psychiatric Association that is designed to provide guidelines for making appropriate and
reliable diagnoses of these disorders. In this fifth edition, the association focused on the
classification and description of the methods that trained clinicians can use to diagnose
the disorders without underlying pathological causes or processes. This guideline served
as the primary source of information for the diagnostic procedures for confirming the
symptoms associated with the condition and distinguishing them from similar disorders.
An additional aspect of its value to the research paper is that is it provided a comparative
