Training in an organization aims equip employees with skillsets which are necessary for
their jobs. It is essential to an organization’s development because the skills the employees acquire
enable them to perform their tasks better increasing organizational effectiveness, productivity,
employee satisfaction and the general wellbeing of an organization (Vinesh, 2014).
Organizations through the human resource development initiatives identify specific skills
that are required for the organization in the present and in the future and make arrangements for
their employees to get training in this specific areas. This equips them with all the necessary skills
required to give the organization a competitive advantage over their competitors and increase their
effectiveness.
Through well planned and thought out interventions, organizations are able to improve
