department of veteran’s affairs. The interviewee works at the Veterans Affairs hospital a
healthcare facility. Veteran Affairs is a government-based organization that operates the United
States’ biggest integrated healthcare structure. It consists of an accumulated 1,700 and more
community living centers, clinics, hospitals, clinics readjustment counseling centers, and many
other facilities. The compliance officer position at the facility is essential to maintain the
integrity of the healthcare structure. Ricardo Vega ensures that the Veteran Affairs complies with
global and US-based regulations and laws that pertain to the healthcare delivery and the
professional standards that are acceptable (Godleski et al., 2012).
According to Ricardo, the Veteran Affairs has helped in the enrollment of over nine
million veterans over the years. Their mission is to “Honor America’s Veterans by providing
