Most health conditions associate with symptoms such as fever, coughs, chills, muscle
aches and brownish urine. These conditions include influenza flu, common cold, Hepatitis A, B
& C, Pneumonia, tuberculosis, whooping cough, etc. A medical condition such as influenza flu
rapidly spreads worldwide in seasonal epidemics and imposes substantial economic burden in
healthcare costs and lost productivity. In developed countries such as the United States of
America, has recently estimated the cost of influenza epidemics incurred by the economy to be
the US $71-167 billion annually. From their statistics, their young population is affected, and
death usually occurs in high-risk groups such as the underage children. Most deaths that are now
associated with influenza, common cold, and pneumonia in developing countries occur generally
among children who are under the age of 10. Most medical conditions such as influenza flu,
common cold, Hepatitis A, B & C, Pneumonia, tuberculosis, whooping cough etc. are associated
with body aches, coughs and, brown urine. From the symptoms that the children are exhibiting in
Djibo community, it is now probable that they suffer from any of the above conditions.
Therefore, it is probable that the children of Djibo community in Burkina Faso suffer
from influenza flu, common cold and or pneumonia, my project plan to assess and identify the
