1. Country Presentation: There is one (1) individual assignment. Each student will make a presentation

regarding a country to be selected from an approved list the first week of class. The presentation is to

be 10-15 minutes and will cover topics such as general information about the country, appointments,

appropriate dress, conversation, gift giving, negotiating a deal, entertaining, and public behavior. The

grade will be based on factual and clear content, creativity of the presentation, visual aids, references,

and professional presentation.


2. Concept Talk: Deliver a 2-5-minute mini lecture on a concept with relevant examples based on your

country. This should be submitted as a voice-over PowerPoint presentation. All concepts must be

preapproved by your instructor.

3. Country Opportunities Profile: This an individual written project (2-4 pages). Based on your knowledge

about your assigned country and the United States, identify relevant business opportunities for existing

US-based companies. Identify the main challenges for that the company may need to address and

suggest ways to deal with these challenges. Assume you are scouting for opportunities for an existing

company.
