Differentiate between mission and vision giving examples
The mission statement focusses on the daily activities of the organization. On the other
hand, the mission statement looks into the future and tomorrow factor in the entity. The mission
includes values, goals, and objectives together with the company culture used in achieving the
daily organizational tasks. The vision, on the other hand, points to the purpose and it is
inspirational in that the business aspires to reach a particular level at a specific point in time. An
example of a vision and a mission statement takes to Samsung company. The mission statement
goes-To become one of the top world brands by 2020. The vision statement reads- Inspire the
world. Create the future (Ling, 2016).

From the vision statement highlighted, I feel the business must continually change its
mission statement. Further, upon attainment of the vision, that too must get replaced. As
experienced in Samsung's mission statement-To become the top world brands by 2020, the
company would have surpassed that mission at that time. So, the corporate must sit down and
appropriately review the said mission as quickly as possible. With regards to the vision, the
company there is still no need to alter it, but soon it would become redundant and require
